If you say so much as a single vile word to her, I castrate you.

Just look at this cuteness.
<3 So take a look, for her, and for me.
It wasn't as nice as usual. I sincerely miss Lincoln. And I miss being separate from the dealers.
So this year, I barely broke even.
But all that aside, let's focus on LEVIVIRIDAE.
We are so badass, amirite?
Yeah. We had some awesome shizz this year. Not my fault no one took a close enough look.
People are so damn lazy, they can't even read.
I paid a friend (in goods) to make a nice sign to advertise my rice art at the con, and no one took the time to actually read it.
So I went home and made a sign in caveman speak.
"Your name. On a piece of rice. In a bottle. On a necklace."
And put a giant picture of one on there.
Still, no one really took notice.
So I got a giant posterboard and scrawled the same words on it... People finally saw that.
I'll have to remember that technique.
Anyway- to those people who did take a look and but the things I worked so hard on: Thanks a lot.
I appreciate you.
Uhm....
It really pissed me off. I worked night and day on these cute little wing pins that you pin to your shirt, or the back of your dolls, or something...
Really, I lost sleep over them things. And only 2 people bought them and only at the end of the con, because I gave them a discount. And this is probably because other stinky poopy people stole my idea and had the exact same wings at their tables.
I was so pissed.
Mine were really cute, too. Sparkly and shiny...
T_T BUT WHATEVER.
No one paid any attention to the things I lost sleep and sanity over.
But who cares, I have Vicodin right now.
Anyway, my associate wants to do whatever convention is next on the timeline, so if you've any info on that subject, email it to me, or even leave an LJ comment. Facebook. What have you.
Anyway, if you haven't seen my site because you bookmarked this page, or friended my LJ, I recommend you take a gander at the actual site.
http://leviviridae.com
I remodeled the front page. I'll be working on this page soon enough... But for now, I have to go buy ingredients for Sukiyaki tonight.
See, this is where I am superior.
I have a Japanese roommate. And I cook exquisit Japanese feed.
So there.
=]
Anyway, enjoy the site. It'll all be up & running asap... KEEP WATCHING.
For YOUR benefit, KEEP FUGGIN WATCHING.
What you will see shall amaze you and happy you. :)
So keep checking up on the site every day, until you start to see things you love.
;) I'm afraid that's all I am at liberty to say.
Good day.
Hey kids.
I thought you might like to know that Leviviridae is making some hardcore improvements.
At the current juncture, I am not at liberty to discuss them.
But be ready.
It's true, my imagination is too big to keep all thoughts in my head bundled together long enough to put down on paper.
That's why there won't be any hack this year.
Someday, in the distant future, maybe. Maybe.
But until then, I've heard rumors that there may be other comics available this year...
'Scuse me?
What do you mean, I'd know? SHH.
Also, there will be other things available in the way of junk to load your pockets with. So I hope you will stop by my booth and have a look.
If you have requests for anything you want to see this year, do NOT hesitate to give me a holler.
:)
I have a grand total of 5 dollars to last me for the rest of my life, or until the next book sells. If I do not make anymore money, I will not have copies of Oi Hack ready for Nebraskon this year.
Hell, if I don't make money, I will not even BE at Nebraskon this year.
I am in a rather tight situation this time around.
Um. So.
I have agreed to let go of some of my paintings.
:(
Also, there's the duct tape purses, and custom figurines... etc... But you have to visit my etsy to acquire these fine items.
http://ocularfracture.etsy.com
:)
And yes, THAT painting is for sale.
You know the one.
THE one. The old CUTW back cover art.
Only good.
It's there, if you have a fat wad of cash. But, if you say you heard about it from my site, I will send you a bonus.
Anything you like, really. A signed copy of HaruOM5G... a custom figurine... just follow the instructions on etsy.
Any rate... I appreciate your support... those of you... that... still actually come to this site...
Those of you... who haven't given up on me...
Anyone?
Echo?
Cheer up, sunshine.
There may not be any comics from me, or any books from Dr. Squeeze, but there is a new shop open online now where you may purchase my convention goods any time of year.
Just as soon as I change that link on the arts and crafts button, you'll be able to click it, and be magically whisked away to ocularfracture.etsy.com
At this moment, there aren't very many things on there, but not to worry, because soon enough, I'm going to get off my duff and Make advertisements. They're so time consuming.
Anyway.
Harry Potter is coming out in TWO MORE DAYS.
Canyouwait? I know I can't.
Bahh. Anyone want to go with me Thursday? I'll buy you a cherry brainfreeze thinger, and maybe popcorn, if you act now.
I love you guise ^_^,
Visit my shop, yo. Spread the word.
Duct tape is fab.
It's been ages, but I am still alive. I know, darn, right?
Anywho...
I've got both good and bad news. Since I am unable to ask you which you prefer to get first, I will start with the bad news, since it leads up to the good news quite nicely.
The BAD news is, I'm not here to update on my comic, or any of the things I might have at Nebraskon this year. :( Sowwy.
However, the good news is this:
Doctor Squeeze is releasing a new book in early May. For those of you who don't know who the doc is, shame on you.
Doctor Squeeze is a fellow artist who I am rather good friends with. Often times, we work on ideas together, and help to advertise one another, etc.
His new book, "You'll Fap to Anything," is a sort of abstract, visual representation of a fight between two people. It maay not sound very interesting, but trust me. It's great.
A select few people were chosen to review the book before its publishing, and all rated it very highly. So by all means, take a look when it comes out.
The reason that I tell you this, is because the doc specifically asked for my help in the creation of the book, so it's a little part of me, as well.
You'll see various snippets of my art, my handwriting, and some photographs that I did for him.
So support the doc (& me!) and please grab a copy when it comes round.
It is true, no one wanted my paintings, but I think that's probably Nebraskon's fault, since, as I heard it, no one was really taking charge with the auction thinger... pity.
The last two years, I totally remember a huge table filled with people's art for auction. Oh, well, at least they bothered to put my name on the list this year, at the least. ^_^
But I can't help thinking it was a lot less organized than it has been the past 2 years. Maybe it was just me.
But enough.
Anyway. I'm getting ready for next year, as we speak, and there will be more next year. INCLUDING the new comic. And if you don't see it next year, you have permission to beat me up, unless, once again, it's Nebraskon's fault. But this year, I will take a screen shot of my registration, so if they try to argue, I can be like "OOOHHH, WHAT NOW!?"
:D
Anyway. I had fun this year, none the less... And if anyone has any information about the missing girl, Celest, please let me know. I left my table for like 2 hours to go looking for her, and I saw a lot of people crying, but I never heard another word. I just want to know that she's okay.
So please email or comment this blog if you have any info.
Anyway, um... see this blog again at a later time for a list of things that will be available on the next episode of NEBRASKON!!!
:)
I only had two weeks to prepare anything for the con, guys.
Two weeks. And in those two weeks, I busted my hyde. I got hardly any sleep because I was up late making/painting/putting together charms, as well as duct tape bags, which are hard work, and I thought many people would enjoy.
I did all this in two weeks. And hardly anyone took a second glance at my hard work.
You know, there would have been another whole comic ready, if I'd had the last 3 months to prepare, but since they lost my registration and wouldn't give me a table, I figured there was no point in working so hard.
So I'm sorry, I didn't know they'd give me a table so late, and I'm sorry if you were really looking forward to it, or anything.
But the things that I did make, I worked really hard on... lol, hard on. Sorry.
And I'd appreciate if people would actually take a closer look, and not just walk past, sneering at my hard work. I don't ask that you buy anything, necessarily, but at the very least, have some courtesy.
It's very rude and cruel to walk past a table filled with someone's hard work, and make disgusted faces at it. If you don't like the things I make or draw, that's fine, but you don't have to be a jerk about it.
For the record, the duct tape bags were marked down to $15 so people will be more inclined to buy them... also, if you purchase one, you will definitely get free pocky, and that's something to celebrate about, you know.
Who doesn't want free pocky? The stuff's friggin expensive.
Anyway, the bags are ridiculously strong. You could try carrying a watermelon inside one. I doubt it would fall apart, quite honestly. And if you're a guy who has no interest in purses, guess what. Christmas is right around the corner! Just think of all the lovely ladies who would fall apart over something as sweet and sentimental as a purse made out of duct tape. ^_^
Go for it, mannnn.
Anyway, the cell phone charms. Yes. People walk by and say "Ohhhh, I wish I could have one, but my cell phone is stupid and......"
The solution is simple, guys.
They're charms. They don't HAVE to go on cell phones, they can go anywhere. Bookbags, purses, zippers, keys... The possibilities are endless. So don't try to pull that one over on me ;P
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
<3
Oh yes, I mean that.
I'll be there.
And there'll be no need for me to sit on the floor and try to sell things. I got a table.
They called me today and said they have a table for me.
Woohoo, I'm going to be there.
But there won't be Hack, since I lost inspiration after they said no to me in the first place.... :( I sorry.
But I promise to make other merchandise. T-shirts and keychains and such. :) You'll be able to buy them.
It will support the cause immensely, and there will definitely be comics for you at the next convention, whether it be Nakakon, or Otaku Omaha, or whatever.
So please, at least buy a raffle ticket or something to help out with the cost of Oi Hack. The printing company just upped their prices.
If you're interested, I'll also be auctioning off some paintings, including the amazing eyeball clock that everyone loves so much.
So do come, and do help me out. I'll appreciate it greatly.
Anyway, since the convention only called today, I have precious little time to get ready, so I have to go.
Plus, hey, it's Halloween. Gotta eat candy, you know.
:)
I look forward to seeing you at Nebraskon.
If you were looking forward to going to Nebraskon, seeing me, and buying comics and T-Shirts, I'm afraid, thanks to the idiotic staff, I will have to let you down.
You see, they apparently lost, or incinerated the form I filled out last year requesting a table for this year.
On top of that, they like to advertise on their website that they still have plenty of artist's tables, but refuse to give me one, saying that they're "all full."
So, if you had your hopes up for this year, I'm afraid you'll have to sit int he corner and cry, because Nebraskon doesn't want to see me there this year, even though I've been there every damned year for the last dgkjhbagiuhegiluh24p8ugpi43gfp483gfpuiyq
:D
:D
:D
:D
:D
Ahem.
So, a lot has been going on, guise. A lot. And this is why A- you never hear from me anymore, B- you never see comic anymore, and C-peanusenlargementsupplement.
Ok.
So, before I get into any details, I would like to say one thing that has crossed my mind as important.
Every time I post a new page of Oi Hack, I have to look at the horrible quality... and it bothers me. So from now on, when I post new pages, I won't be posting with the screens and tones already on. I'll just post a blank sketchy page and if you want to see it fully completed to its full potential, you can wait until November when the book is released.
Secondly, It is now, simply Oi Hack. I've altered the title slightly, to avoid confusion and Tongue twisting.
And now to tell you what I've been so busy with.
Well, firstly, I'm going back into Hack, taking out all the ugly pages that I hate, and replacing them with newer, better pages. So within the next couple of weeks, you should start to see it being re-released on the website, from the very beginning. I hope you'll like that.
Unfortunately, since some of the old pictures still exist, the shrunken tones thing will still be a problem some of the time.
But only some of the time.
:)
Also, since this book needs to be done by November, I am putting every hour of my consciousness into it.
Second thing.
I am recently working with Capes, a comic book shoppe in Benson. So if anyone lives nearby and wants to go check it out, that would be kickass.
My comics are now being sold there, too, so if you don't have a copy of HaruOMFG and don't want to wait for the internet to send it, you can go to capes and pick one up.
Doesn't that look nice?
Oh, speaking of capes, look what I made them:
We seem to have a bit of a communication problem somewhere, though, so I'll have to go back in and talk to them in person one day when I'm not busy.
One last thing before I go, guys.
These will be available and Nebraskon:
TSHIRTS.
And look who's on the back!
It's your friend, Epicat!
So you have to come to Nebraskon. There'll be Oi Hack and T-Shirts.
:)
She wanted to know if, since I discontinued CUTW, she could recontinue it.
An interesting question, don't you think?
Well, due to laws about copyright infringement, etc, and starving artists not wanting their hard work and personal ideas getting stolen for profit of someone else, I can't allow anyone to just recontinue it. I already have the entire story in my head, I just don't want to waste time finishing something that no one will publish.
:D It would be different if someone wanted to work with me and do the drawing part, while I do the writing...
So this led me to thinking about fanfiction and fanart.
Both of which, I myself do sometimes.
But what if someone did both together, and made fan comics?? That is probably the most awesome idea ever, right?
I mean, think of all the fans that would drool over juicy fan comics... It would be brilliant.
So here's my thought.
If this idea appeals to you, by all means, fan comic it up.
As well as fanart, I will post it on the site in a designated place.
So fancomic it up :D
Just make sure that you make it known that it is simply a fancomic, and give credit to me, since the characters, original idea, etc belong to me.
Anyway.
Here's the new page, I hope it pleases you.
And also, I've decided I do not like the cover art that I came up with a few weeks ago.
So remember when I told you "Hey, give me an idea for cover art, and if I use it, I'll give you credits in the back, and send you a free signed copy"?
Well, that offer now stands once again.
Surrender your ideas to me.
I posted without resizing.
Looks even worse, doesn't it?
Oh well.
This won't be a problem once the book is available.
You can buy it and read all you want with no interruptions or screwed up pages, and it will be good.
I hope to have it finished by August, but lol. That'll take immense concentration and it means I'll have to work on nothing but that.
Bring on the coffee.
At any rate.
I gave you a week, guys. And I said I needed your ideas quickly.
I even promised you retribution for your kind work.
But as usual, no one answered anything I said.
No one ever does.
Luckily, I had an idea and put it into action.
Here's the world's tiniest preview, if you even care about that.
Definitely not the best thing ever, but since, as usual, I get no help with anything...
Honestly, guys, are you like, afraid to email me, or what? I won't bite, you can email it up.
I don't care how many times a day you email me.
Go on, bug me. I have nothing better to do.
Draw pictures!
Ask lame questions.
Pretend we've been best friends for years.
If you want to write to me and tell me you had a burrito for lunch, feel free.
Just don't be afraid to write to me, for the love of cake.
:D
Unless you want me to think you don't even look at my glorious website anymore ;(
PS- I worked a long time on this new page.
Like how livejournal screwed it?
After sitting here, staring blankly at a piece of paper and picking at the eraser on my pencil for the last hour and a half, I've realised something.
I have no idea what to draw for Hack's cover art.
Help me out here, guys, I need some good ideas. And I promise you this: If your idea is uber awesome and I actually decide to use it, not only will I print your name in the credits of the book, but once the book is published, I will send you a free copy, signed and everything, maybe I'll even do some doodling in the back or something that you can keep forever as a token of my love and gratitude. -bats eyelashes-
Now, you should have an idea of Hack's mind and lifestyle... or do you? -ponders-
Actually, I think I need to have an epic montage of website updating for n00bs and people who want to share my badassery.
Ok, here's a spoiler-free run-through of some things you may need to know in order for the brainstorming to strike my paper:
About Hack:
He cannot cry. Remember this. It's like a disability for him. He has to always act like nothing bothers him because of it. He pulls some insane grins when stuff bothers him...
Hm. He loves video games and drawing. He's a comic artist like yours truly. Ahmm.... He's pretty thin, because he always feels sick, thanks to built up anxiety from inability to shed tears, and therefore doesn't eat much.
In the first episode, which I need the cover art for, he has to go on an epic quest to find the mysterious game wizard, who he depicts as close to god, since he thought he was the best gamer in the land.
He likes space, and night time... lalala.
I can't think of much else to put right now, without spoiling the entire first episode... other than his love interest is a self-centered biotch, who only calls him when she needs something, and he does what she asks out of love.
So yeah. Think of something goooood and send it to me afayc. I need it pdq.
Pronto.
:)
You should have no trouble finding my email addie, since it's on the site.
But anyway.
I'm gonna go take care of the site now.
:D Thanks in advance.
PS- I have not posted a new page in a month. I am sorry. I've recently been distracted by painful, yet necessary changes in my body that have made it difficult for me to even attend the college that my parents in law so generously paid for. (starving artist, you know :( )
I'll get right on that though, provided I don't have to get into another stupid heated argument about the damned scanner.
tee tee eff en.
At the moment, I am sealed in a tiny room, bot much bigger than a closet, in fact, it is called a water closet.
I'll bet you're wondering what I'm doing in the bathroom.
Well, you see, I got sick, and I was carrying my computer, so I just set up a little fortress in the bathroom to hide from all the creepy zombie things outside tonight.
But that's not why I came here.
I thought you'd like to discuss something that I finally finished.
No, it's not Hack Mang, don't cry. It's even better. It's an animation.
The link is here:
http://ocularfracture.deviantart.com/art/H
Anyway.
It was super hard work. Scenes like this:
were the easiest to do because it was just an outline on a lame background. But when I got into things like this:
or this
Things got a little more complicated. Since I'm no expert at flash, and I just kind of taught myself how to use it, I don't know how do do any kind of fancy things to make it easier, or whatever.
And my battery is about to die.
K, all better.
Anyway.
I do hope you'll enjoy the animation and forgive me for not working on Hack.
Unfortunately, this is only the intro to what will be the show...
So feh. x_x I don't know if I have enough funding for that right now.
Bits and pieces of memory are coming back. I still have trouble remembering certain people, but I do remember my work and everything.
I still don't feel like talking about what happened to me that made my memory take a hike, though, so don't ask.
Umm...
Oh, so yeah.
I am currently doing work for the following website:
www.hilltribefusion.com
Perhaps you'll see my work there sometime.
Since the quality of Livejournal's pictures is deplorable, as we know, The work is on Myspace (myspace.com/haru_sketti, if you forgot) in the album "Artzorz."
But as a small gesture, here's a preview:
The picture is crooked, and that sucks. So now it looks like her right side is higher than her left. (Hers, not ours.)
And it is only now that I realise how silly it is that you don't use an apostrophe in possessive words like hers and ours.
Anyway.
So that's what I'm up to lately, and I've been so busy, I have not had time to work on Hack. So please don't kill me.
There's still Hack for you... I'm just sorry it's not specially made in webcomic form.
It's made in actual comic book form, so I apologise for the fact that you get maybe 3 sentences per week.
I was thinking maybe I'd just draw little weekly Haru comics instead, but I can't very well interrupt Hack. So once the first episode of Hack is done, I'm going to stop putting it on here as a webcomic, and make it exclusively a book.
Also, I would appreciate if those who want to buy comics, would buy them at the convention, instead of online, since the website they exist under refeses to pay me royalties, but instead basks in the piles of money that my work brings in.
The bastards.
Never fear, though.
Just because Hack won't be a webcomic anymore, doesn't mean you won't get weekly Haru comics.
It'll be great. And one day, those will also become a book. :D
Well, anyway, if you want the next page of Hack, I'll have to get off here, so let me do that now.
バイバイ
Ps... Got a little something for ya.
I currently have no memory, so it's a good thing I told my journal that I have a list of usernames and passwords tucked safely away in a secret place.
No details, I don't feel like explaining right now.
Um... but I did go back and do some reading in this blog thing. This fearofclowns thing. And there were things written that I don't feel like I would have written, but the way I hear it, I was having a lot of problems last summer and was mean to a bunch of people.
I don't know much about any of it myself, as I have no memory right now, but for the people that I did hurt- regardless of whether or not I remember doing it: I'm sorry.
As it happens, I don't even remember any of you, and I'm sorry for that, too.
While looking through the blog, I noticed several entires regarding dating, loving, the whole shibang, and how I didn't want to do any of that.
As my paper journal tells me, though, this was only because of a stalker problem regarding broken car windows and dead animals in my yard, and me not wanting my real boyfriend to get killed, or something along those lines. But I at least currently feel like everyone deserves to know the truth, so they won't have to pursue me.
I am, apparently, engaged. I have no idea when I'm getting married, so please don't ask.
I'm sorry to anyone who had feelings for me- partly because I have no memory of you, and partly because of the whole "I find myself suddenly engaged," thing. If whatever stalker is still out there lurking behind a tree, I want to tell you that I'm sorry. I'm sure that if you feel for me, then you probably want me to be happy, and if I'm engaged to this personthing, then I'm apparently happy, so please don't grieve and don't do something retarded like killing an innocent person for taking care of me.
Even though I don't currently know who he is, he is very nice and takes good care of me and it makes me happy.
I hope I will eventually remember everything that I lost when my memory left me. And when I do, I will talk about why I lost it, if I remember.
Wish me luck.
It seems I've fixed the whole picture sticking off the bottom issue.
=D Well, that's good.
Anyway.
There's that. Plus a new page, finally. I've been too busy to even blink, let alone post the next page, but hopefully you'll come to forgive me, when you hear the news.
The uh... news you were to get if you used THIS:
<a href="http://www.leviviridae.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.tinypic.com/1z4de20.png" border="0"></a>
Oh, ya ya.
So did you? Eh?
Did you do me that little favour? :D
Since I don't have megasuper psychic powers, I'll just have to trust that you're caring enough fans to have done so.
:) Hmm?
Well, then. Here's the news: (PS, it's not to late to paste that code!)
Um. NEWS.
Soon, (if I ever get time to WORK) there will be HaruOMFG! (Oh, my flashy goodness.)
Oh yes, there will be flash.
Unfortunately, I've only gotten half way through... what will be the intro.
But it can serve as a nifty music video for now.
Sound good?
In fact... I'm so awesome, that I'll give you a little preview of what I've done so far.
Here ya go.
http://ocularfracture.deviantart.com/art/A-w
There ya go. Don't say I never give you anything.
:D
